Mutual Aid – Workshop with Juha van’t Zelfde and Lars Holdhus

When governments fail to support people with food, housing, and care, people often develop their own ways of supporting each other based on solidarity, not charity. This support is called mutual aid. In this workshop, artists Juha van’t Zelfde (Netherlands) and Lars Holdhus TCF (Norway) provided an introduction to the concept of mutual aid, offering examples from around the world, but also from Catalonia. Following the introduction, they held a workshop aimed at raising awareness about mutual aid as an important and empowering alternative or complement to direct action.
