Discover letterpress printing in a single, intensive 8-hour session at our L’Automàtica workshop. Conceptualize, design, and produce between one and three pieces with a small group of participants. This is the ideal workshop to familiarize yourself with the processes and tools of this printing technique and return home with a few copies of your printed piece. At L’Automàtica we have a lot of experience in the design and execution of training workshops for student groups. Throughout these years of experience, we worked with various centers in the city, and also with centers from England, Germany and Australia.

These workshops-visits have a duration of 2 hours and are for groups of 20 students, where the technical principles of letterpress printing are explained and a brief historical tour of its evolution and the trades connected with printing is carried out.

The workshop-visit also has a practical part where a sentence or a small mold is composed among all the students and later is printed, so they can take home a copy and thus know first-hand the entire printing process.

Come to L’Automática to print your project. We accompany you in a tailor-made workshop, where you learn and participate in all the production processes and decisions. This workshop modality can be extended to 1, 2 or 3 days, depending on the project’s complexity. Materials are not included (special papers, prints, offset plates, special inks, etc.).
